Sometimes, as humans, we begin to believe the assumptions and opinions people create about us.
We carry their words in our hearts,
question our worth,
and slowly forget who God says we are.
But not every opinion is truth.
Some opinions are formed from pain.
Some from insecurity.
Some from jealousy, misunderstanding, or emotional reactions.
And if you are not careful,
you will start shrinking yourself
to fit into other people’s comfort.
But hear this clearly –
God did not create you based on human approval.
He created you with intention, purpose, and identity.
People may misunderstand your journey,
criticize your growth,
or question the very thing God wants to use for His glory.
Yet God still calls you chosen.
Still calls you worthy.
Still calls you His.
This is why discernment is important.
Not every voice deserves access to your spirit.
Not every opinion deserves a seat at your table.
Learn to disassociate from environments and people
who constantly drain your confidence, distort your identity, or make you doubt your God-given value.
Protect your peace.
Protect your mind.
Protect your becoming.
Because the loudest opinion in your life should be God’s voice, not people’s assumptions.
And if God is pleased with you,
do not let human opinions imprison you.
Walk boldly in who He created you to be.
